Despite years of advocacy in favor of deepening the St. Johns River, Jaxport was unable to provide a specific dollar figure it was seeking from the City Council Wednesday during a meeting.
The full Council was not in attendance at the meeting, but Council President Boyer and Council Member Gulliford were on hand to voice their concerns about how much, if at all, the city could contribute to funding the project.
