Udacity’s self-driving car training program took a giant step on Wednesday when the Mountain View company told employees it plans to spin out a self-driving taxi challenger to Uber.
Business Insider reported that Udacity announced internally that the new company will be headed up by Oliver Cameron. He had been leading the company’s efforts started just six months ago to fill the growing need in Silicon Valley for engineers trained in self-driving technology.
