Vandals have damaged roughly 200 bikes in Portland’s Nike-sponsored bike-sharing program. The damage includes slashed tires and seats, cut spokes and graffiti.
BikePortland, a website that covers Portland’s bike community, first reported the vandalism. The website has photos of the vandalism, including a sign that reads, “This Biketown is now closed. Our city is not a corporate amusement park.”
