The Hawaii Department of Transportation says it is launching an investigation after a security guard at Honolulu International Airport shot a passenger’s dog during an incident at the airport’s interisland terminal on Tuesday evening.
Ford Fuchigami, director of the state’s Department of Transportation, said the DOT is currently investigating and could not comment on the incident in particular.
