San Francisco-based delivery startup Instacart will pay $4.6 million and change the way it explains fees to users as part of a settlement of a class action lawsuit brought by employees of the company.

The settlement will now change the language of how the company assesses and new service fee, which many users assumed was a built-in tip for drivers. It wasn’t, leading a group of workers to sue the company for a litany of work-related reasons.
