Lyft, a popular ride-sharing service comparable to Uber, is set to launch today in Huntsville, Auburn, Mobile, Montgomery and Tuscaloosa.
The move comes exactly two weeks after the service received approval to begin operating in Huntsville.
“Today, we are excited about continuing this growth and bringing safe, friendly and reliable ridesharing to new communities,” said Jaime Rackzka, head of early stage markets and expansion for Lyft, told AL.com.
