The average American spends almost a full workweek commuting each year, with traffic delays costing an average of $960 per year, according to a study by the Auto Insurance Center.

Six of the 10 worst commutes in the U.S. are in California, reports FindtheHome, using data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2015 American Community Survey, the most recent available.

Waldorf, Maryland is at the top of the list, with an average commute time of 43.1 minutes.
