Amtrak on Tuesday suspended its Northeast Regional Rail Service between New York City and Boston as a monster snowstorm barreled into the region.

Amtrak said service was suspended “until further notice.” The transit agency said that trains that depart each city before 9 a.m. will complete their trips. Acela Express service between New York City and Boston has already been canceled.
