How Anheuser-Busch tracks shipments from its St. Louis command center

Anheuser-Busch’s director of transportation engineering, Matt Gordon, and his team of 30 employees track beer shipments from A-B’s 20 breweries to over 600 receiving locations across the U.S. at a command center in St. Louis. After a marker representing a particular shipment changed colors on a screen — indicating it was running behind its scheduled delivery date — a member of Gordon’s team contacted the trucking carrier shipping that load to get it moving.
