S.F. officials to crack down on transportation startup Chariot to protect Muni

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency board of directors will decide next week whether to bring back private transit vehicle permits the city stopped issuing in the 1970s. As the only business affected by this new program, Chariot will be paying most of these costs initially.
