Do you despise slowing down for toll booths? If so, your day is about to get a little better.
The Lawrence Journal-World reports that the Kansas Turnpike Authority recently opened the state’s first high-speed toll lane.
Although it only has one westbound lane open for now, the KTA plans to have two eastbound lanes and two westbound lanes up and rolling by November so drivers with K-tags can keep driving 75 mph right through the eastern terminal (mile marker 217) near Bonner Springs.
