Rochester, Minnesota’s taxi industry is rapidly consolidating, with two people now in charge of virtually the city’s entire fleet of licensed cabs.
The Post-Bulletin reports on the apparent buyout of Yellow Cab of Rochester by Tim and Tina Fliehr, who already owned the city’s other chief cab company, Med City Taxi. That deal came just months after another deal at Yellow Cab to consolidate ownership under one partner, Steve Elwood, who then sold the business to the Fliehrs.
