Nearly 1.5 million Georgians are without power in the wake of Irma.

All tropical watches and warnings stemming from the one-time hurricane, now tropical depression, were cancelled as of late Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

But the storm left a number of damaged power lines in its wake due to downed trees. As of 12:20 a.m., a total of more than 1,450,000 Georgia Power and Georgia EMC customers across the state were without power, WXIA 11Alive reports.
