German airline Deutsche Lufthansa AG is taking Logan International Airport operator Massport to court over a 2015 accident in which one of its planes suffered damage after hitting a snowbank during a major snowstorm.
Lufthansa filed a federal lawsuit in Boston against Massport on Friday, claiming that the engine of one of its Boeing 747s was damaged on Feb. 9, 2015 due to the agency’s “negligence” in clearing the runway.
A Massport spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
