Southeast Florida’s busiest airports remain closed Monday after Hurricane Irma slammed the region with extreme winds, flooding and tornadoes.
Miami International Airport (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL) are expected to reopen Tuesday.
American Airlines Group Inc., one of the largest carriers in the tri-county area, will resume limited operations at the airports when they reopen for business.
