Hurricane Irma’s looming threat to Central Florida will cause one of the region’s airport to shutter for the storm.

Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) will suspend operations late Sept. 9. The massive storm is expected to bring strong winds as early as Sept. 9 and possible hurricane-force winds late Sept 10.
