European Central Bank (ECB) President Mario Draghi will speak in Frankfurt on Thursday, following the ECB Governing Council’s meeting, which saw the group discuss the current state of monetary policy in the euro zone.

During the press conference, Draghi and fellow ECB officials are expected to debate the timing of an exit from the bank’s ultra-loose monetary policy program, as well as comment on overall strategy.

Other topics that the ECB president may draw upon during the hour-long conference include the recent moves in the euro, Brexit, geopolitical tensions surrounding North Korea and the West, and the current health of European banks.

On Thursday, the European Central Bank decided to hold fire and leave its benchmark interest rate unchanged, with the institution also making no reference to the wind-down of its stimulus program.
