Gas prices across the Carolinas have reached their highest point in more than two years in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, according to AAA Carolinas.

Regular gas is averaging $2.62 a gallon in North Carolina, up 37 cents from a week ago. That’s the highest level since July 2015.
