The U.S. Department of Transportation will chip in more than $10 million for improvements at Louisville International Airport.
Our news partner WHAS-TV reports that the DOT has allotted an $11.2 million grant under its Airway Improvement Program for Louisville International.
U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao told WHAS that the money will be used for runway, taxiway and apron repairs as well as taxiway lighting installation and land purchases for future development at the airport.
