The largest container ship ever is expected to dock in Savannah today.

The CMA CGM Theodore Roosevelt passed through the Panama Canal on Aug. 22, setting a new record for the canal. It’s enroute to New York for the inauguration of the Bayonne Bridge on Sept. 7. The ship stopped in Norfolk, Va., before heading to Savannah.
