The city of Greensboro’s historic J. Douglas Galyon Depot that serves as a major transportation center downtown is expected to get a $1.3 million facelift over the next year.
Adam Fischer, the city’s transportation director, told TBJ that the first part of the project will involve an approximately $300,000 job to fix leaks in the depot’s Amtrak passenger and baggage tunnels.
