Allegiant Air is ending flights between St. Petersburg-Clearwater and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton early next year — less than two years after the route began.
Allegiant Travel Co. (NASDAQ: ALGT), the parent company of Allegiant Air, said the flights will end Jan. 4, 2018. Twice weekly service between St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport (AVP) began Nov. 6, 2015.
