The Memphis airport authority is already preparing for the day airline passengers will use their smartphones to summon their rides before touching down at Memphis International Airport.

“We’ve got some big decisions to make over the next four years,” said Scott Brockman, president and CEO of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA). “What do we think the impact of [Uber and Lyft] will be? Or autonomous vehicles, where you get dropped off at the door and tell your car to go home?”
